Fence Installation Process

Once you’ve contacted us and set up an appointment, one of our professionally trained salesmen will meet with you at your home or business to first discuss design options such as fence type, height and material based on your needs, budget and any neighborhood or code restrictions.
Next, we measure the area to be fenced. At this point it’s helpful to have the metal property pins clearly marked. Having the property lines identified allows us to accurately measure and quote the job, besides   you’ll need them when it’s time to install. Guessing at the property line location for fence placement can be an expensive mistake in the future.
Many subdivisions have covenants that require prior approval from an architectural committee for fence style and placement. The proposal that we provide is a useful part of the approval process, since it shows the placement of the fence in relation to the house and property lines, as well as the fence specifications.
Once we’ve agreed on the terms of the installation, we take a down payment and signed contract and set an anticipated install date. Next we call the Underground Protection Center, a free service that is required by law prior to digging. They flag and spray paint the location of the service lines on the property to help avoid cutting them while digging.
Then, we gather the material package and we’re ready to install. Depending on the size of the job, installation usually takes a day or two. When the job is finished, and you’re happy with everything, we collect the balance.
